McIlroy Dresser

The McIlroys needed a big dresser, but the narrow curving staircase prohibited access for anything they could find on the market. We designed a cabinet that separates into four sections to fit up the staircase. We also designed it to match the McIlroy's existing furniture, using cherry stained to the same color and incorporating the same proportions and design details (moldings, fluted stiles, and decorative baseboard opening). The paneled sides were provided because the McIlroys enter their bedroom from the left, facing the left side of the cabinet. The corbels add drama and focal points to the piece, avoiding a boring "telephone booth" look. Notice how nicely this piece fits the available space.
